As the interior designs were not yet complete SquintOpera was given the task of designing the spaces for this mall inspired by shopping trips taken by Qataris to some of Europes most beautiful city quarters The project is named after Place Vendome but the inspirations come from the Champs Elysees the Palace of Versaille Rome London Vienna and beyond All of these influences were brought together into a new style that could be described as posh eclectic European neo-classical retail architecture for the middle eastern market
To provide a showcase for this mixed-use scheme we created a marketing suite film and more than a dozen computer-generated stills to show how it will look when completed in 2017
